In Troutman, a barn fire spread to a home Sunday night. The home on Buffalo Shoals Road sustained heavy damage while the barn was destroyed. Troutman, West Iredell and Catawba fire departments, along with assistance from other departments in southern Iredell County, responded to the blaze around 6:30pm Sunday. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
