Toyota’s new North American battery manufacturing plant will create at least 1,750 jobs and contribute more than $9.5 billion to the North Carolina economy over the next 20 years. The $1.29 billion plant at the Greensboro-Randolph megasite is part of North Carolina’s growing clean energy economy, Gov. Roy Cooper said.
