Yesterday, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) spoke on the Senate floor to honor the service of Ryan Hayworth, a Knightdale, North Carolina police officer who was killed in the line of duty this week. Tillis said that Officer Hayworth was only 23 years and had a bright and promising future ahead of him. He added, “I know the community of Knightdale will never forget his service and sacrifice.”
