In Iredell and Alexander counties yesterday, strong storms brought high winds, tornadoes, and trees and power lines down. On Lentz Road in Alexander County, trees came down and blocked some driveways and roads. There were other trees down across the WSIC listening area. At I-77 and Tomlin Mill Road, the darkening sky looked eerie, as wave after wave of showers rolled through.
