Both Huntersville and Cornelius are holding Memorial Day services in conjunction with local American Legion posts. Cornelius’ ceremony will be held behind Town Hall, adjacent to Rotary Plaza, at 10 am. Huntersville’s will be held at 11 am at Veterans’ Park downtown. In Statesville, the Iredell County Burial Detail presents a Memorial Day Ceremony in the Veterans Garden at 1pm at Iredell Memorial Park, 2304 Shelton Ave.
