The NC DHHS is reporting 4,623 new cases of the coronavirus statewide, along with another increase in hospitalizations to 3,342. On June 24, a total of 394 North Carolinians were hospitalized due to COVID-19. The median number of new cases over the past seven business days is 98.5 percent higher than the median number of new cases over the past 30 business days, currently standing at 6,631.
