WSOC TV is reporting that North Carolina’s contract with StarMed Healthcare for COVID-19 testing sites has come to an end. The company says that means the total number of its testing sites will be reduced. However, the health care provider plans to keep giving people access to COVID-related services at no cost — including people who are uninsured. StarMed is also now a community access point for at-home tests. Right now, people can visit the west and east Charlotte locations to pick up 10 free at-home COVID tests.
