WSOC TV is reporting that JR Motorsports had a fiery start to the new year as their facility was struck by lightning during a storm during yesterday morning’s thunderstorms. The facility, owned by Kelley Earnhardt Miller, brother, Dale, Jr. and NASCAR Hall-of_Famer Rick Hendrick, posted a picture of a large bolt of lightening as it struck nearby semi-trucks in the back parking lot just off Cayuga Road in Mooresville.
