Iredell-Statesville Schools has announced that a beloved staff member has died. Coach Chris Davis was performing routine maintenance on the football field Tuesday when he suffered a medical emergency. Iredell County EMS personnel reported to the scene but were unable to resuscitate him. We will post funeral arrangements on the WSIC website at WSICNews.com as soon as they are made available. Coach Davis, a volunteer, had served for over six years.
