Yesterday, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) announced he secured $59,795,000 for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to go towards a multitude of navigation projects and multi-purpose flood risk management projects in Eastern North Carolina. These funds will come from the bipartisan infrastructure package supported by Senator Tillis. Tillis worked with colleagues on both sides of the isle to pass this bipartisan legislation.
