At next Monday’s Meeting of the Rowan County Commissioners, the board will be discussing letting Rowan-Cabarrus Community College use the parking lot at the West End Plaza for truck driver training. RCCC President Carol Spalding said that use of the parking lot would be a temporary fix. Cabarrus County is expected to eventually build a driving pad as part of a larger public safety training site.
