Rowan County Commissioner Craig Pierce has pleaded guilty in court to driving while impaired. Pierce was given a 60 day suspended sentence, unsupervised probation, ordered to surrender his driver’s license, and be subject to a substance abuse assessment. Pierce was also ordered to pay court costs and was sentenced to 24 hours of community service that has already been completed, according to court documents.
