Raleigh’s Mayor says downtown buildings and public facilities in the city will be lit up in blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag, through the weekend. That includes the Shimmer Wall on the side of the Raleigh Convention Center, the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts and the Raleigh Municipal Building. Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin is encouraging private businesses to do the same. The gesture is to show support to the Ukrainian people
