- District 103: Laura Budd (D)
- District 107: Kelly Alexander (D)
- District 112: Tricia Cotham (D) *Leading 3-person primary
Iredell & Catawba Counties:
- District 89: Mitchell Smith Setzer (R) *Leads with 57% of vote in Republican primary
Cabarrus & Rowan Counties: District 83 had a 3-person Republican primary, with Kevvin Crutchfield leading with 45%. Cabarrus also had a 3-person primary for District 73, with Echevarria winning.
NC Senate:
- Mecklenburg & Iredell Counties: Vickie Sawyer won GOP primary for District 37
- Cheryl Russo won GOP primary in Mecklenburg County for District 42
Iredell County Local Primaries:
Republican primary for the 3 at-large seats on the County Commission. Brad Stroud Sr. won with 14% of the vote. The other preliminary winners were Gene Houpe (13.9%) and Bert Connolly (12.8%).
Jim Mixson won the Republican primary for Superior Court clerk. No Democratic primary.
Renee L. Holland won the Republican primary for register of deeds. No Democratic primary.
Three district seats on Iredell/Statesville school board: Brian Sloan won District 1 with 60% of the vote. Abby Trent won District 3 with 34.8% of the vote, and Anita Kurn won District 7 with 58% of the vote. No Democratic primary.
Nonpartisan race for mayor of Statesville, Costi Kutteh won with 33% of the vote. Steve Johnson and James H. Pressly are in the lead for the two at-large seats for Statesville City Council with 24% and 18% of the vote.
C.O. (Jap) Johnson won the Ward 2 Statesville council seat with 94% of the vote. Doris A. Allison won ward 3 (66%) and Joe Hudson won ward 5 (54%).
In Mooresville, Kevin Kasel leads the Ward 3 commissioner race with 36.98% of the vote with Tommy DeWeese getting 36.65%.
