One man who stole a generator from Tractor Supply at 285 Gillman Road in Denver was arrested on May 17th for the same type of crime committed in Mooresville, NC.
On May 17th, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Detective D. Hendrix received a call from a Mooresville Police Department detective who advised she had information that was related to the Lincoln County theft. Mooresville Police responded to a call on May 17, 2022 about the theft of a generator and other items from Tractor Supply in Mooresville.
Officers responding to that incident got into a chase with a suspect vehicle which wrecked and the occupants fled the scene. They were later arrested in the case.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective D. Hendrix charged Christopher Mark Beeler, 47, of Charlotte, NC with larceny of property, possession of stolen goods, and conspiracy to commit felony larceny in the Lincoln County theft. Beeler will be taken before a magistrate in Iredell County and served with the warrants. Beeler was already in the Iredell County Jail on charges filed by Mooresville Police.
Investigation into the incident at Tractor Supply in Lincoln County is continuing and additional suspects could possibly be charged.
