Unlike Huntersville and Mooresville, the Cornelius Town Board has canceled its Election Eve meeting on November 1st. The commissioners voted unanimously to cancel the meeting, which means one meeting in November on Monday the 15th. All five commissioners as well as Mayor Woody Washam are running for re-election in the non-partisan local elections.
