If you’re looking for a nice pre-Halloween hike, join a retired park ranger for a two-mile hike through the autumn woods of Lake Norman State Park on Sunday, October 30th at 4pm. The highlight of the hike, which will discuss plants and wildlife found in the area, will be a visit to the grave site of Julia E. Clark, who died on July 7th, 1849 at the age of 22.
