Greenville, North Carolina police say Aaron Brown, 23, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder after stabbing his 81-year-old grandfather, Wheeler Brown. The younger Brown was jailed on a $1 million bond. Brown was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening wounds. He remained in the hospital yesterday, but a news release from Greenville police that its latest check showed his condition had stabilized.
