Duke University is conducting a new study at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis. The Transitions Low Back Pain study looks at how acute back pain may transition to chronic back pain. Managed by the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute in Kannapolis in collaboration with Duke Orthopedics, the study examines people who have recently experienced sudden low back pain with no specific cause.
