New State Plan to Give Over $800 million to Child Care Programs

NC Governor Roy Cooper has just announced a massive new plan to give over $800 million to child care programs in North Carolina. According to a press release from the state, “the North Carolina Child Care Stabilization Grants, made possible by funding from the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act, will support working families with access to high-quality, affordable child care.”
