State transportation officials are reminding people to stay off railroad property because it is illegal and dangerous. Jason Orthner, director for the NCDOT’s Rail Division, says that railroad property and tracks are not for walking, jogging or any form of trespassing. Orthner also made a plea for photographers not to take senior and prom pictures on railroad tracks.
