A Belgium-based cybersecurity startup, Spotit, said yesterday it will establish its first U.S. office in Raleigh. The decision to chose the capital city could eventually bring more than 100 jobs to N.C. State University’s Centennial Campus. Steven Vynckier, a founding partner of Spotit, said his company looked at three cities for its first U.S. office, with Atlanta and Tampa competing with Raleigh for the office. But, in the end, Raleigh’s central location on the East Coast and growing tech talent swayed the company’s founders.
