The NC Dept. of Health & Human Services said yesterday that COVID-related hospitalizations have fallen to 4,032 in today’s coronavirus update, down 17 percent in the space of a week. The NCDHHS reported 152 new COVID-related deaths statewide between Friday and yesterday, including one new COVID death in Cornelius. There were 4,927 new cases statewide in yesterday’s report. It’s the smallest one-day increase since late December.
