COVID-related hospitalizations statewide surpassed the 5,000 mark in yesterday’s coronavirus update from the NC Department of Health & Human Services. There are 5,055 North Carolinians hospitalized with the coronavirus, a record. There were 46 new COVID deaths reported by the NCDHHS yesterday statewide.
