After a lengthy investigation concerning the distribution of child pornography that began in March, detectives with the Mooresville Police Department obtained warrants charging Chase Harris Roycroft with 15 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and three counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Roycroft was arrested at his residence without incident and placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
