Cornelius Today is reporting the town board will conduct the final public hearing on the Sefton Park mixed-use development this Monday. South Carolina-based Shaw Resources is planning a hotel and conference center as well as 344 multi-family units on 10 acres of property between West Catawba and Sefton Park Road. The property, opposite the CATS bus station, has been an eyesore for years. The property was stubbed in years ago with streets that are now overgrown and in disrepair.
