The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce recently honored six first responders from Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville at their annual Public Safety Luncheon. The most outstanding officers were: Cpl. Bradley Nichols, Cornelius Police; Cpl. Anthony Better, Davidson Police; Officer Gavin Aron, Huntersville Police; Firefighter Mel Kelly, Cornelius Lemley Fire; Cpt. Alex Harris, Davidson Fire; and Firefighter/EMT Koppy Williams, Huntersville Fire Department.
