A football player for Lenoir-Rhyne University was shot and killed early Saturday outside of an apartment complex. According to WBTV-TV, Omari Drovon Alexander, 19, was shot multiple times while he sat in the driver’s seat of a black 2015 Chevrolet Camaro in Hickory. Alexander was a tight end for the Lenoir-Rhyne University football team. According to the university’s website, he was from Charlotte and went to high school at Mallard Creek
