The NC Department of Health & Human Services yesterday reported fewer North Carolinians hospitalized due to the pandemic, but a higher positivity rate both statewide and in Mecklenburg County. The NCDHHS at noon yesterday reported 1,077 people hospitalized due to COVID, down from 1,113 people before the Thanksgiving holiday.
