The Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations’ Subcommittee on Use and Distribution of Federal COVID Funding held a hearing this morning to discuss housing and utility assistance programs. Legislators are expected to hear how the N.C. HOPE Program and other assistance programs impacted renters and landlords, as well as potential improvements to the programs.
