Jamie Lane, Founder and Executive Director of Seasons of Giving Lake Norman, joined Good Morning LKN to share how the nonprofit brings together seniors, youth, and adults through volunteer service and intergenerational connection. What began during COVID with a “Grinch parade” fundraiser to deliver meals to seniors has grown into a mission focused on companionship for older adults and leadership opportunities for young people across Huntersville and the Lake Norman area. Jamie explained how teens gain empathy, communication skills, and real-world experience while seniors receive the care, comfort, and community they need.
