A $133,000 project to improve conditions for bike enthusiasts in the Jetton Road Extension area of Cornelius has been awarded to the CES Group. Tyler Beardsley, the town’s project coordinator, said the area has been a major concern for the town for some time and is a danger to both drivers and pedestrians. Beardsley also mentioned the poor condition of the road’s surface, as well. Work will begin in July 2023.
