Police in Salisbury say a security company worker observed several individuals trying to break into cars at the Colonial Village apartment complex at approximately 3:43 a.m. this morning. Officers chased the suspects south on I-85 into Charlotte. Eventually, the car, struck a pole at the intersection of Austin and Monteith drives in northeast Charlotte, authorities said. The suspects ran. One was captured. An investigation is underway.
