According to AAA in our area, gas ranging prices range from $4.16 to $4.19 a gallon as of today. A week ago, it was $3.76. A month ago it was $3.33. The national average for a gallon of gas is $4.33. It’s the first time since 2008 that it’s been that high. The average price in North Carolina is $4.19. Experts predict we could see record highs this week.
