WSOC TV is reporting that a final decision is expected tonight on the future of Birkdale Village in Huntersville. The developer is seeking rezoning to allow for a building with 150,000 square feet of office space and 25,000 square feet of street-level retail space at Birkdale Village. The developer is also proposing a 450-space parking deck. Some residents are concerned about the traffic the project would bring.
