Fire at Statesville Home Tuesday

Tuesday, the Statesville Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Harrison Street in Statesville. When units arrived, they found heavy fire on the second floor of a two story structure. Crews quickly got the fire under control and checked to see if it had spread to other parts of the home. The fire left multiple families without a place to live and the cause is under investigation.
