NC Highway patrol officers say a 16-year-old driver lost control of his Dodge Charger Saturday in Guilford County and struck a Jeep Cherokee being driven in the opposite direction by Greensboro fireman Richard Murrel of Reidsville. Murrel was killed instantly, while his wife is in critical condition at a nearby hospital. The teen driver’s passengers, ages 15 and 26 also died at the scene.
