Hickory police are searching for three 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old after Hickory resident Shonniel Blackburn, 35, was shot and killed on Monday while going to pick up his children. The incident occurred around 1pm at the Blue Ridge Heights apartments along South Center Street, near Highway 70. Because the the teens are minors, police say their names cannot be released.
