Average gas prices in North Carolina have fallen 5.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.36/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 6,092 stations in North Carolina. Prices in the state are 7.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and 13.0 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. Of course, nothing can compare to the $2.30 per gallon under President Trump, when the U.S. was energy independent.
