A UNC Chapel Hill School of Government course specifically designed to help newly elected officials transition from campaigning to governing has been postponed due to the pandemic. Cornelius’ mayor, commissioners and town manager were scheduled to take the course today and Friday in Asheville. Commissioners said the orientation has been postponed until the spring.
