Iredell Free News is reporting that Roy Cooper on Friday directed $14.5 million in new federal funding to further support post-secondary students in completing their degree or credential and to support beginning teachers as they start a new academic year. $7.5 million in funding for the Finish Line Grants program for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years was committed.
