Roy Cooper has appointed Jane E. Campbell as the chair to the state Veterans Affairs Commission. Campbell, of Davidson, serves on the commission as the representative of the 12th Congressional District. She served over 25 years in the U.S. Navy as a public affairs officer, and is currently a commissioner on the Davidson Town Board, as well as a representative of the Lake Norman Transportation Commission.
