CMPD is investigating a homicide that took place Friday afternoon. Officers responded to a death investigation in the 3100 block of Sloan Drive around 1:27 pm and ruled it a homicide after an investigation. The investigation into this case is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a Homicide Unit detective.
