WBTV is reporting that Mecklenburg County Public Health has announced the community has risen back to a moderate level of COVID-19 spread. Officials with the health department said they use the COVID-19 Community Level tool to help people decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest COVID-19 data in their community. A week ago, Mecklenburg County was sitting at low spread, which is green. Now, the county is highlighted in yellow to designate medium transmission.
