Charlotte City Councilman Tariq Bokhari said a truck hit his wife and two of his children while they waited for the school bus on the first day of class. The city councilman posted on social media that his children were scraped up and were released from the hospital. His wife’s CT scans were good, Bokhari said, though he added that she can’t move her neck, has a concussion and is in pain.
