The Charlotte Fire Department will be getting a new all-electric fire station and fire truck under the city’s budget proposal. The City of Charlotte has set aside $20.8 million to construct the new all-electric Fire Station 30 and equip it with an electric apparatus as part of the city’s green agenda.
