WBTV Meteorologist Jason Myers and Sky3 pilot Chip Tayag were killed today in a helicopter crash near I-77 at the Nations Ford Road exit. Myers leaves behind a wife and four children. In broadcasting, we’re all family, regardless of whether we are competitors. WSIC’s thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these two men, as well as the WBTV family.
