A blind pedestrian was killed early Wednesday morning in a crash in Four Oaks. According to the N.C. State Highway Patrol, a woman was struck by a truck when she walked into its path before 5 a.m. at 853 Lassiter Road. She died at the scene. No charges were announced. The woman lived in a group home, investigators told WRAL News.
