The Amtrak Thruway Bus Service stop is now located in Jacksonville, NC at 1300 N. Marine Blvd. The bus provides convenient and affordable service to and from the Amtrak Station in Wilson, N.C., where customers can connect to Amtrak trains serving western North Carolina, Raleigh, Savannah, Ga., Charleston, S.C., Virginia, the Northeast including Washington, D.C., and New York, and more than 1,000 other stations nationwide. The Amtrak North Carolina Thruway buses operate two routes: one travels to Morehead City, with stops in Greenville, New Bern and Havelock, and the second travels to Wilmington, with stops in Goldsboro, Kinston and Jacksonville.
