American Airlines is eliminating several routes out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport in response to lack of demand. WCNC Charlotte has learned that the airline will stop offering service from Charlotte to three locations. Those locations include Alexandria International Airport in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, Sioux Falls Regional Airport in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and El Paso International Airport in El Paso, Texas.
